Sony US have announced that FluffyLogic’s hit monster game Eat Them! was is in the top-selling indie PSN games of 2011.
With the 2011 coming to a close, we also wanted to highlight some of the most successful indie game development efforts on the year. If you haven’t already, give these games a shot during your holiday vacation.
To help keep the indie spirit vibrant, we also incubate some indie developers to give them access to our resources, enabling them to realize their full artistic vision while being able to tap into the expertise and experience of SCEAs World Wide Studios development ecosystem.

Today sees the long-awaited release of Eat Them! in Japan.
Eat Them! – the game where you can create your own monsters before unleashing them onto the city streets, will be available from 20th July on PlayStation3 priced ¥1,000. The game has even been given a new title; Eat Them: Hakase no Okoreru Monster, which we think translates as “The Professor’s Angry Monsters”.
SCEJ have created an Eat Them! website to coincide with the release of the game, which outlines the story, game objectives, monster lab, game modes, multiplayer and the different levels.

We had such a tough job selecting the winners from all the entries to our Eat Them! Create Your Own Monster Competition, that we’ve decided to showcase 11 runners-up entries over the next week. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
