This alloy has great plasticity, machinability and thermal conductivity. It also has excellent absorption capabilities for grays and Xrays.

Applications:
Tungstennickel-iron is the most widely-used tungsten heavy alloy. For most applications such as radiation shielding devices or counterweights and counterweights etc. sintered alloys may be directly used. But for high mechanical properties applications, tungsten nickel-iron alloys will require heat treatment and deformation to obtain strengthening.
