What does sodium silicate Powder mean? The molecular form of sodium silicate, Na2O is its molecular formula. nSiO2*xH2O. The amount of silicon dioxide and sodium oxide molecules in sodium silicate affects its properties. Modulus refers to this ratio. The modulus greater than 3 is considered neutral water glass. If the modulus is decreased from 3.33-1, the relative density rises from 2.413-1 to 2.560. It has no set melting point. Useful for concrete acceleration and water repellent.

Use of sodium silicate

The chemical and physical properties of sodium silicate
